Where does the smoke go? Combustion technology ensures that the fuel is burned more fully inside the stove, reducing the emission of smoke
Where is the company based? Makindye, Kampala, Uganda
Does UCODEA work outside Uganda? The current focus is on distributing stoves within Uganda, first to urban, then peri-urban and rural areas. International expansion will be considered in the future.
Where can I buy a stove? Check the list of outlets or contact UCODEA directly at contact@ucodea.com
I offset the greenhouse gases of my holiday flight. If you get the carbon credits, where does the money go? UCODEA qualifies for carbon credits due to the major carbon savings generated when a customer switches from an inefficient traditional stove to a UCODEA improved stove. Your payments are invested in increasing UCODEA's production and disseminating additional carbon-saving stoves to the marketplace.
