Environmental and health studies validate the importance of this work, from the impact on the global environment to the health of individual Ugandan households.

The science of rocket stoves has been adapted to develop a product customized to the Ugandan market place.

Information systems have been put in place to qualify UCODEA stoves for carbon financing.

Financial benefits of switching to UCODEA improved stove technology have been tested in the field through the Kitchen Performance Test (KPT) methodology.
